MAW Vriddhi Speed Chargers has achieved a new milestone in Nepal’s electric mobility journey by officially launching a CCS2 electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Jomsom.

Now part of the global high-altitude charging network, this installation underscores the company's commitment to building a robust EV infrastructure across Nepal—even in its most remote and rugged regions.

More than just a technical feat, the Jomsom installation represents the first step in extending full support for electric mobility in high-altitude areas of the country. By enabling CCS2-compatible EVs to reach such elevations, the project empowers users to travel farther while contributing to a cleaner, greener Nepal.

With 116 CCS2 charging stations strategically placed across the country, MAW Vriddhi currently operates Nepal’s largest CCS2 network. This wide-reaching coverage ensures dependable access for EV drivers, whether navigating city roads or venturing to remote destinations like Jomsom.

Beyond infrastructure development, this initiative also fosters sustainable tourism. Jomsom, a popular destination for both domestic and international visitors, now offers a greener travel option. The availability of EV charging facilities encourages eco-conscious travel without compromise.
